Heather Glenny

Heather takes inspiration for her work from natural history, horticulture and from her travels. Flower paintings are usually detailed in watercolours but other media are used as the subjects demand. Paintings of landscapes, birds and pets have sometimes been commissioned artworks. Heather has recently been experimenting with different styles and using vibrant colours to make more contemporary pictures.

Jo is an oil painter and lives in Mannings Heath, West Sussex. Light, colour and texture are captured in her contemporary landscapes while her life studies, largely of people, exhibit a graphic quality, focusing on tone and composition.  Jo paints whatever inspires her, from flowers to woodlands, sunsets to coastlines, groups of children in a playground or a nineteenth century cattle market.
