Angela makes colourful glass jewellery using art glass and dichroic glass which is kiln fused to create unique contemporary wearable art. Using clear and coloured sheet glass, powders, chunks and threads of glass she creates wall art, bowls, vases, and sculptural pieces for the home. Her designs are inspired by the natural world including flowers, silhouettes of seed heads, seascapes and landscapes.
Irma began her artistic career at a very early age and now, as she says herself, simply can’t imagine a day without creating. Found and recycled objects form the starting point for her work.
